That's right! I remember that it was an away game (listened to Jay Walker)....wondering why he couldn't do that for the hometown fans at the Tigue!!Originally Posted by TheFan

Chase Lambin, IF: Has played six games in the Arizona Fall League so far, spreading his time between shortstop (two games), second base (two games) and designated hitter (two games). Overall, Lambin is hitting .286 (6-for-21) with one home run, two doubles, three runs scored and three RBI. The home run and all three RBI came in Grand Canyon's victory over Phoenix on Oct. 8; Lambin also stroked two hits and scored a run on Oct. 15 against Mesa.
Jupiter, FL (Sports Network) - Jose Reyes went 3-for-4 with three runs scored as the New York Mets handed St. Louis a 12-2 defeat in Grapefruit League action.
Paul Lo Duca smacked a three-run double to highlight a six-run fourth inning for New York, which also received two hits and two RBI from David Wright.
Chase Lambin added a two-run homer in the win.
Tom Glavine went the first five innings for the Mets, allowing solo homers to Albert Pujols and Jim Edmonds but just three other hits to earn the victory.
Cardinals starter Chris Carpenter yielded two runs and fanned five over 4 2/3 frames.
Edmonds and Yadier Molina each had two hits for St. Louis.
Chase Lambin drove home two runs with a one-out triple to the base of the right field wall. ...
Chase Lambin's nearing the halfway point of his second season in Class AAA baseball, waiting ... watching ... wondering what's going to happen with the New York Mets.
One step away from the Major Leagues, and the only ex-University of Louisiana position player in AAA, he's spent this year learning new positions and watching Jose Reyes and Chris Woodward, the shortstops on the Mets' Major League roster.
"You never know what's going to happen," Lambin said. "If I play well and they think I'm ready, I think I'm ready to make the leap. If not, I'm happy playing where I am."
The former Ragin' Cajun shortstop has been with the Norfolk Tides, the Mets' AAA affiliate in the International League, since June 16 of last year when he was called up from the Class AA Binghamton club. He had posted pro career highs of 10 homers and 64 RBIs in 2004 with Binghamton.
