Former Cajun forward Lamar Roberson told The Daily Advertiser on Wednesday that he will play professional basketball in Portugal this upcoming season.

Roberson, who played the past two seasons for the Cajuns, agreed to a one-year, $150,000 deal after participating in a professional exposure camp for international teams last week in Las Vegas.

I think that Lamar was under-utilized last season. His attitude was sometimes a little suspect but his talent was obvious. Happy for Lamar and his new opportunity.
