I know the kid and have never seen him play---He had offers from the JCs and some colleges---Just wants to be a Ragin Cajun----I love that---I think that the speed thing is what got him the walk-on----But he keeps knocking the hell out of the ball---I think that his district being pretty good also gave him a chance!!!

The draft is such a tricky situation. Austin is smart for taking a wait-and-see approach so he doesn't back himself into a corner. It would have to be a special opportunity for him to turn down the Cajuns.

This should put to bed any of the Tony leaving talk. Makes me happy.

I played with Mark in high school. He has a solid glove, solid bat, and is very fast. Kid made some plays as a sophomore that i haven't seen anyone else make. He has a high baseball IQ and was our best pitcher the last three years. I have always said that I thought he could play college ball here. I'm very happy he decided to come here.

Mark played short for us. He could play ss, 2nd, or maybe the outfield.

  8. Default Robichaux commits to Cajuns

CROWLEY – The question for Notre Dame standout pitcher Austin Robichaux really wasn’t with whom he would commit to – it was when. That answer came recently when, as expected, he verbally committed to play college ...
