Jace Conrad and Chaz Hebert commit to UL baseball

Everyone I heard talk about Jace was saying he was wanting to go to Alabama so this is a pleasant surprise.

He neve recieved a bama or lsu offer.

Oh ok I didnt know it was just a thought. But what are the standards for GETTING IN to an SEC school for an athlete? Is it about the same standards as UL or worse (or even better)?

I watched every one of Lafayette's games of the little league world series a few years ago. I still remember how tough Jace was as a 12 year old. He was a man among boys. Good catch!!!

I follow the Little League World Series every year and remember watching Jace. I wanted wished that UL would have offered him right then. If I remember right, Jace had a younger brother. Anyone know if he is still playing and how he is doing?

Brenn is the younger one and will be a junior at Lafayette High. Started at 3rd. base as a sophomore. Great stick [left-handed hitter] and even greater hands. Should be someone to watch over the next 2 years.

Started at 3rd base as a sophmore for a good LHS team. is a good, reliable fielder and is a good hitter as well. has some power too and he should improve even more in the next 2 years. just imagine if we got him too. in a few years it would be Jace at SS (most likely) and Brenn at 3rd. Brothers playing side by side. that would be fun to watch

That seems to me to be 'end game' speculation, I've never seen someone try to apply the logic to a year early commitment.
