Definitely good news for the Cajuns. Both were extremely excited about their decisions when I spoke with them Monday night.
Awesome pickups. I know Chaz has been getting recruited since his Sophmore season by many of those teams. Coach Trahan attended nearly every game that Chaz threw this season. Glad the hard work paid off. He may not put up the greatest numbers this season as a lot of the good talent graduated for BBHS, but he's a stud.
Both Jace and Chaz mentioned how much they liked coach Trahan, who worked incredibly hard to earn their commitments.
Amen!!!!!!!!!! this is what I have been screaming about when it comes to football... And yes yes yes... I know its tougher in football... but you have to get a couple of top level players recruited by the bigger programs from time to time....Most of our football recruits "chose UL over McNeese, Southeastern and Nicholls"....
Congrats to Coaches Robe and Trahan....![]()
It would be nice to add a young Robichaux, Osborne and Lucroy down the line as well. Assuming they dont get drafted and sign.
I knew there was a young Robe and Luc out there, but I was not aware that Zach had a younger brother playing ball, that would be huge if we could get all three and they had the same drive an deterination that Justin, Jonathon and Zach had.
I said the same thing years ago about Papo Ramos little brother and it did not pan out.
But I believe that from what I have read about little Robe and little Luc, they will be fine at the college level.
Congratulations to both young men and to the Cajun coaching staff. Looks to be two good prospects. I'm looking forward to watching them compete in the future. Congratulations to both families.
I'm so happy we got Jace. I got a chance to watch him play in the playoffs and he is a good player. It's also good that we finally got someone from our own back yard. We may or may not have this problem with our baseball team but i know our football team has trouble signing guys from the area. maybe that's not the case for baseball. I know we have a few guys on our team from acadiana, LHS, terlings, and other schools from the area but it doesnt seem like we get enough.
