COVINGTON, La. (AP) - Satellite telephone provider Globalstar
Inc. says that it is moving its corporate headquarters from
California to Louisiana, creating 490 jobs by 2018.

Globalstar, now based in Milpitas, Calif., will use a state
assistance package to establish headquarters operations in
Covington, along with product development, finance, accounting,
sales, marketing and customer service.
