Timing is everything, and Lance Veazey admits his timing couldn't be more perfect as head takes over as upper school athletic director at Duchesne Academy.

Veazey, who begins his new duties on July 12, inherits an athletic program coming off the finest season in school history. During the 2009-10 school year, the Chargers won a pair of TAPPS state titles in girls swimming and diving and tennis, turned in top five finishes in two other sports (cross country and track and field) and advanced to regionals in softball.
