SPRINGFIELD — Louisiana's Ragin’ Cajuns golf team recorded its best tournament finish of the season tying for second place overall at the Carter Plantation Intercollegiate. Louisiana (302-289-299, +26) finished eight strokes behind tournament champion Southeastern Louisiana after the Lions shot a tournament low round of 286 on Tuesday.

Louisiana senior Tobias Winberg (74-71-76, +5) turned in his best finish of the season with a 54-hole total of five-over par. Winberg has now finished in the top 15 in four of his last five events.
