Guys, not sure if you catch the Tony Kornheiser show in Lafayette on ESPN radio, but this morning he was talking about the tournement and went on for a few minutes about how good the Vanderbilt vs. NC State game is going to be. Now I understand we're the little guy here who doesn't deserve any respect, but come on. To make a comment like that without even mentioning the fact that Vandy and NC State have to win.... Kinda reminds me of Oklahoma's football situation last year. Jason White wins the Heisman, then his next two games he looks like a JV QB. Oklahoma was mentioned as one of the best college football teams of all time... then they got their arses handed to them for the next two games. Why did this happen???? My guess is because they were looking too far ahead and missing the game right in front of them. The moral of the story is don't count your chickens before their hatched.
I think we are going to give NC State a hell of a game. We are a very talented team that's capable of great things (when we play together). If we come out Friday and play the way we know we can, it won't be so easy for NC State especially if they are looking ahead to Vanderbilt. I like being the underdog and I love not getting any respect. They'll never see us coming!!!!
