St. Martinville police are investigating an early morning shooting at the Cypress Gardens Apartment complex. Officials believe it to be a domestic incident, and would only confirm that one victim was taken to the hospital. The condition of that victim is unknown at this time. St. Martinville police would not comment on the identity or where-abouts of the suspect. We will provide updates to this situation throughout the day.
