Codeine abuse has been hot since at least 1997. People act like it's this new, crazy thing that no one has ever done before.

For cops and sheriffs, a drug arrest is good PR. Doesn't matter if they find codeine, weed, meth, or crack. All they want is a reliable tip and a bust.
