Take the exit, right off the basin bridge if you're heading in the direction of Baton Rouge on I 10 East. And on the 4th of July weekend, this was the scene of a shooting incident. State police say at around 1230 in the afternoon, a trooper attempted to pull over a piano moving van with texas plates.

State police say it was just supposed to be a routine stop, but things escalated. Back towards baton rouge, investigators had the exit blocked off for just about two hours on this busy travel weekend, but there's no white chalk on the pavement here where a body would be marked-- and troopers all over Louisiana are relieved about that.
