NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Through humor and storytelling, Bill Cosby brought straight talk about educating children, cutting teen
pregnancy and curbing the youthful homicide rate among that age group to a crowd gathered as part of the Essence Music Festival.

On Saturday, Cosby was among a host of activists, experts and community leaders participating in an education summit put on for the three-day event, which ends on the Fourth of July.

Cosby says talking to children about real life and getting involved in their lives is the only way change is going to occur.
