The family of a 19-year-old in Opelousas is still waiting to hear from police about a possible arrest in connection with aggravated battery charges from June 13th.
The victim, Joshua Guidry, says a driver tried to kill him while he was riding his bicycle down East South Street in Opelousas.
"I jumped off the bike and he hit the bike and totaled the bicycle," Guidry said.
An incident report was filed by Opelousas Police and it shows pending charges against the driver but the Guidry's haven't heard of an arrest and the medical bills are piling up.
