I don't know how much of an effect it will have on our RPI or Saragin rating, but Xavier is beating the snot out of #1 St. Joseph's.
Xavier 57
St. Joseph's 29
with 12:32 to go
Remember, we only lost to Xavier by 4 points.

Xavier up by 33 with 6:30 remaining
Xavier wins.
Not only is it good for the RPI, but it opens the door for someone other than St. Joe's to get the A-10's automatic bid. If it's a school with an RPI lower than ours, it could be the difference between a 13 and 14 seed.
Xavier wins by 20!!

I'm not sure about how Rice will do, but if all of our "out of conference" losses came to teams that make the Big Dance!
at Georgia Tech
at No. 25 Dayton
at No. 5 Arizona
at Xavier
at Rice
How can this do anything but help Louisiana.
I doubt Rice will make it. Their RPI is near ours, so they need to win the WAC tourney. They play Hawaii tonight in the $0.25-finals.
I wonder if that loss blows a #1 seed for St. Joe's out of the water:confused:
