Teen Dies in Vermilion Parish Crash

KAPLAN, La. (AP) - State police are investigating a three vehicle accident that claimed the life of a Kaplan teenager.

Troopers say 17-year-old Joseph Eddington was traveling south on La. Highway 35 south of Kaplan Wednesday when his vehicle crossedthe center line and struck a truck head-on. After impact, they say Eddington's vehicle rotated and struck another vehicle.

Eddington was pronounced dead at the scene by the Vermilion Parish Coroner.
