You are right, however, LSU will be playing in the NIT, so there's no chance we get to kick their arses this year! I really don't see how LSU could be invited to the big dance. If they are invited, whoever they play should thank their lucky stars!!!

LSU is 18-9 with a .500 record in SEC which is one of the toughest conferences in the nation. They will be in the Tourney.

They need to win at least one or two games in the SEC Tourney to be guaranteed an NCAA birth. They've lost their last 3 or 4 games in a row, so if they go 1 and done in the conference tourney, it would be rediculous to simply give them a spot in the NCAA's. that nice record against sec, and rpi was built with larada in the mix. if they lose their first game, i suspect they won't make the dance. they have pretty much been in a downward spiral since his departure. if they do make the dance without a win the committee will take into consideration that their current rpi is based on a team that no longer exists, and may very well be dropped to a lower seed.Originally posted by Square Head
