Kaplan - Guidry faced adversity with a smile
When faced with adversity and obstacles, some people don’t have what it takes to overcome the hurdles, and proceed with their lives. Others persevere, rise above, and accomplish great things; providing a source of motivation for those around them.
This is the story of a Kaplan resident who did the latter.
Despite being stricken with polio as a child, and a slew of other health problems, one area native was bound and determined to live his life to the fullest.
Tommy Guidry not only made a positive name for himself, but he tickled many funny bones along the way.
