BOSSIER CITY, La. (AP) - An Arkansas man died after losing
control of the dump truck he was driving in Bossier Parish.
State police tells The Times that 41-year-old Gregory
McWilliams, of Magnolia, Ark., was driving a truck loaded with
gravel north on La. Highway 157 Thursday when the truck ran off the
right side of the road. McWilliams apparently overcorrected,
causing the truck to start sliding. Troopers say the gravel shifted
and the truck rolled onto the passenger side, hit a bridge guard
rail and slid off the side of the road before stopping in a ditch.
