Palmetto, water system will be changing out fire hydrants, and the water service will be interrupted in some areas with the possibility of brown water.

Brown water will not be dangerous, mineral may be loosened into water while hydrants are being changed. Hydrant will be replaced all week. For more information residents can call the Palmetto Town Hall at 337-623-4426.
