    Sean Comiskey missed on a 46 yd FG wide left. You could have sworn he had missed the winning field for the national championship. What a competitor!
    Acctually, I think your missing a big point. The reason It PO'd Cominsky and the Red team was so happy was that the losing team had to serve the other team later on this spring. I think that made all the difference in the world in the spring game cuzz there was just a little more intensity. It was really fun to watch the game though.

    Was it a clean kick or did the red team get a hand on it? While it didn't look like it was deflected from its path, Stanley Smith (#4 Red) was getting congratulations from his teammates and coaches after the kick.

  3. Default Cajuns deal with suspensions

    LOUISIANA La. — UL Lafayette head football coach Rickey Bustle was pleased with his team’s focus in Saturday’s Cajun Bowl spring game at Cajun Field, but he admitted that this week’s arrest of two Cajuns on drug charges has been difficult for the squad.

    “It’s always a disruption when something like that happens,” said Bustle, who dismissed offensive lineman Demetrios Brooks and wide receiver Bill Sampy from the team on Thursday. “But we have a way of regrouping, getting together and focusing in on what’s important.”

    Bustle offered no timetable for a possible return to the squad for either player.

    it was not a live kick, simply a hike, the defense stayed at the line.

    Boy... lay off the tough guy pills. I HAVE PLAYED IN 4 Spring Games and I have watched Spring Games every spring of my life.
    The Defense is always "ahead" of the offense in the Spring and just after 2-a-days BECAUSE you only have 1 responsibility on each play. OFFENSIVE guys have to react and improvise -on the run- to whatever the DEFENSE is doing.

    Anyone that knows football knows that the toughest positions on the field are on offense.
    PHYSICALLY= Running Back
    MENTALLY= QB
    Group Cohesion= O. Line
    STAMINA= WR... DBs are WRs with no hands

    I did "sit back and watch" an offense without Sampy and Brooks... and a bunch of new faces... move the ball on your D.

    Offense held it down. {even with dropped passes}

    Thanks for your bio. Really not needed but Any how I enjoy our Defense. I was pulling for the Defense in the spring game. Thats about it. Why are upset I was pulling for the D???? Try not make excuses for your Offense. Offense needs to improve big time you and I both know that. Im not trying to getin an argument on who is better Im just big on the Defense. Sorry man. Dont take it so personal. Besides the Defense just learned a whole new Defense "4-3" this spring "REMEMBER"!!! So i mean that would have been a great time for the offense to get ahead.

    Go Cajun
