I didn't realize Abdule ran for 2,800 yards during junior and senior years at Port Barre.

You do realize that is combined yardage not each season. Still very impressive.
Any ideas on which freshman will play and who will redshirt?
I think Desormeaux will redshirt along with Rubin. Other than that, I'm clueless. It seems we have a lot of depth which isn't something I am used to saying. I think that luxury will allow us to save a year of eligibility for some of our great 2004 recruiting class.
I never like using freshman, although if Baldwin had redshirted VanCleave he would probably be in school and a senior. I don't think it would have saved his job though. Then again Jerry Babb might have gone somewhere else. Bigearl I tell you, love that picture.
Talked to PB coach about ABdoule---did not think that high of him from body language but he has some good ones to compare to.
Thanks Doug. I totally agree about Van Cleave. I was a big fan of Van Cleave and I hated to see him go. I know a lot of people didn't care for the type of QB he was with this offensive system, but I think it could have worked. God forbid Baab goes down next year and we basically have Van Cleave all over again with Sinewski.
Boomer, who is "PB Coach?"
My guess is "Port Barre"
If he does mean Porte Barre coach, how can you not be high on a guy who got you 2800 yards in two seasons? Unless they butted heads personality wise. I hope that was not the case.
Question...
I am considering buying season tickets for the first time. I noticed the prices and the seating charts. I don't care for (nor want) the chair back seats. Any of you guys have any suggestions on what are good seats? I want to be on the lower level, and I think section A would be nice. Also are these seats assigned or is it general admission to the section you purchase?

bigearl, i sit in section ( b ) right under the overhang and i think it is pretty good, and really you can get either one of the sections a,b,c,d, and it would be fine, you can also call the ticket office at the cajundome and speak to Schivaun Bertrand, 265-2357, that's her direct line. welcome aboard for what i think will be a very good year. Geaux Cajuns.
