NEW ORLEANS - Guardsmen assigned to the Louisiana National Guard’s 528th Engineer Battalion, 225th Engineer Brigade, reinforced a levee in Myrtle Grove, La., from June 10 -14.
The Soldiers, from various units within the 528th, packed sandbags along six different sections of the levee that have eroded due to high tides from the Cheniere Traverse Bayou.
