A Crowley man is doing what he can to aid in the oil spill cleanup.
After seeing image after image of animals covered in oil on television, Larry Schuh put his artistic talents to use.
“It’s an emotional and artistic expression, but I didn’t know the power of the image until today,” he said.
When discussing some of the calls he had received, he talked about the emotion that the image brought out in others and how it has become obvious that people not only want to be involved in some way, but also to be making a statement.
“People take pride in wearing a statement,” he said.
