Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon want to remind motorist that the Seatbelt and DWI Task Force
will conduct a checkpoint on Friday evening from 9:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. at an undisclosed location in Acadia Parish.

Sheriff Melancon stated that deputies will be looking for impaired drivers as well as seat belt and child restraint violations.
