SHIPMAN A KNIGHT

Former UF basketball player Ray Shipman, a former teammate of Ray Taylor, was said to be considering transferring to FAU.

Turns out Shipman decided to not just switch schools, but switch sports, and signed to play football at UCF.


Guess the remaining schloarships will be saved for 2011-2012 season.

No updates yet. Staff is working on a couple of recruits now. Should be some news soon.

Not all of the players are here yet. Been told Farrington will be here in July. Keep in mind workouts are voluntary in the summer.

Except if you play for Steve Spurrier per his interview to a South Carolina newspaper. Still waiting for the ncaa to get around to that investigation.

Also, concerning all players not "being on campus": Some of the players, as far as I'm aware, are living outside of Lafayette during the summer with family. It's really nothing to get worked up about, at least in my opinion.

Being on campus meant working out or in summer school. Yes workouts are voluntary but did not everyone on here complain about them not doing the extra. I have not been around campus this summer. I was trying to see from someone who is around if Marlin has changed the mind set of the players regarding summer workouts. Farrington is coming what about Brown and Perez.

Perez is around. Not sure about Brown. If he's not here now, he will be soon like Farrington.

There's no doubt that the mindset of the team has changed under Marlin.
