does anybody know what happened to Devin Williams. He was supposed to be a huge prospect for QB that we recruited a few years ago. The 2004 roster still shows that he is at UL, but I really havent heard anything about him since reading on CNNSI two years ago that he signed with UL.
All I know is a saw him along side myself watching spring practice.Originally posted by manizzle

This tell me a couple of things, he still in school and has an interest in the football team. I take both of those as good signs.
I snapped this picture when Devon couldn't resist the chance to pick up a loose football. It seemed to me he was chomping at the bit to play fooball.
I suspect he is working hard in the classroom.
You can tell he is a big athletic kid. Now lets get him in the classroom so he can play some football.
He sure does have a natural looking grip on that ball... I'd love to see him play.
What's the guy next to him doing with that PVC pipe? And why is he smiling?......I'll bet he's "up to no good!"
The guy next to him with the PVC pipe is a kicker. Mayeux maybe? Kickers are always smiling, unless they just missed a field goal. I would be willing to bet that most kickers are like starting pitchers in the majors. They get bored / creative when they are not in the game.
Kicker with a ball holder. In lieu of a person holding the ball, the kicker can use the PVC thing.
I wish he'd get his act together, I think he's be a great addition to this team. That is why Coach recruited him. I wish him good luck in the class room. This guy looks like a beast for a QB. From what I heard about his playing style, he'd be a perfect fit for Coach Bustle's style of offense. Either way, I think we've got a pretty good QB in Jerry Babb, who's gonna have a break out year!
Yes the more competition at any position the better it will make the cajuns!!!!
