I went and of course voted for UL vs. North Texas. Why is anybody even voting for North Texas vs. Texas. For one thing, Texas isn't a Sunbelt team, and last I recall, this vote is on the SUNBELT game of the year. In addition to that, UNT will at best probably lose a close game, but most likely and at worst, get their asses whooped. And when they get their asses whooped, it'll only continue to make the Sunbelt appear as a weak conference. Anyhoo, just a couple of thoughts.

    God Bless

A picture image gives the viewer a suggestion of what a Ragin' Cajun is. It's Louisiana, which is a VERY important association we want people to know. It's of French descent, which defines us as representing the French influence of college football.
Cal, how does this helmet decoration do any of that? Sorry, no go.

A "Hokie" isn't anything. A "Hoosier" is a resident of of Indiana.

I’m only half Cajun, but I think some differentiation between Cajuns, and Ragin Cajuns should probably exist.

For me the "Ragin' Cajuns" moniker is uniquely "University of Louisiana." Right now it is perceived generically Louisiana, as in “those crazy Cajuns.”

I do have a Utah if you want it. LOL

  10. UL Football New Orleans Bowl on ESPN

N.O. BOWL ON ESPN: Officials for the Wyndham New Orleans Bowl and Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation announced that the national TV broadcast of the 2004 New Orleans Bowl will be rescheduled from ESPN2 to ESPN. In making the decision to move the game to ESPN, network executives recognized the growth of the New Orleans Bowl during the past three years and the official launch of the bowl season. "For the Wyndham New Orleans Bowl, this move to ESPN serves as a real testament to the relationship and partnership we've developed with ESPN, and their commitment to the growth of this game," said Executive Director Ron Maestri. "It certainly marks another major milestone in the four-year history of our event." ESPN reaches 2.25 million more homes than ESPN2. The New Orleans Bowl matches the Sun Belt Conference champion against a team from Conference USA, and will be played at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 14 in the Superdome.
