As far as the jamborees go, it's not a good idea. My dad is in the Lafayette Kiwanis club, which sponsors the annual high school football jamboree. It used to be at The Swamp every year but all those games tore up the field too much, so they moved it to high school stadiums since.

I wish I could be of more service Turbine but the ISU in my name stands for Iowa State.

there never was a person by that name! unless he was walking on because he is not listed......they probably got him confused with someone else.

Ragin' Cajuns I don't see what all the fuss is about!!!

If the CAJUNS are in a position where they're playing for a chance to win the Conference by that time (the way many people are expecting), there shouldn't be ANY problem packing CAJUN FIELD for that game, no matter how many high school games are going on that same evening.

I brought up the same point about 3 weeks ago, but was told that the field be messed up a little would be outweighed by the "advantages" of having the high school games there. Besides the field looking like do-do on national TV, it could also cause injury to the players on the field. Not a good idea at all.

There was a list to the left with buttons to make your choice. I was able to vote yesterday. Try again, I had a similar problem trying to vote for Jake in the ESPY's the first time but was able to do it on the second try.

I went and of course voted for UL vs. North Texas. Why is anybody even voting for North Texas vs. Texas. For one thing, Texas isn't a Sunbelt team, and last I recall, this vote is on the SUNBELT game of the year. In addition to that, UNT will at best probably lose a close game, but most likely and at worst, get their asses whooped. And when they get their asses whooped, it'll only continue to make the Sunbelt appear as a weak conference. Anyhoo, just a couple of thoughts.

    God Bless

A picture image gives the viewer a suggestion of what a Ragin' Cajun is. It's Louisiana, which is a VERY important association we want people to know. It's of French descent, which defines us as representing the French influence of college football.
Cal, how does this helmet decoration do any of that? Sorry, no go.

A "Hokie" isn't anything. A "Hoosier" is a resident of of Indiana.

I’m only half Cajun, but I think some differentiation between Cajuns, and Ragin Cajuns should probably exist.

For me the "Ragin' Cajuns" moniker is uniquely "University of Louisiana." Right now it is perceived generically Louisiana, as in “those crazy Cajuns.”

New Jersey is not for sale.

I do have a Utah if you want it. LOL
