    UL Football ESPN's Bottom 10

    http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/s...ge=bottom10045

They slammed UL in the third week saying,"The Indians on their own are a solid Bottom 10 team, but we look forward to a few more losses by Louisiana Lafayette and the return of U-L-U-Pick 'em."

Well we won, but we need to win again against another bottom 10 team...

That caption is precisely why I agree with whoever said on this board "we need to have University of Louisiana right next to Ragin Cajuns, so people know the association." I think though that problems like this, will resolve themselves once our football program improves and our name gets out there more.

    God Bless.

p.s.- The guy who does the bottom 10 for espn.com is a goofball.

    Default Has Anyone Noticed?

I don't know if I'm the only one or not but, has anyone else noticed the cool looking pepper decals on the back of the football helmets. I'm pretty sure they are much like Ohio State's buckeyes that they use on their helmets and FSU's Tomahawks. Personaly I think its a nice addition to the already sweet looking helmet. Babb of course has alot of them along with C.C. Brown whose helmet is starting to run out of room. By the end of the season you may not be able to see the Ragin Cajun anymore on Babb's helmet. I think the team is doing really well although I think they went in overconfident at FIU. I think thats just the thing that the guys needed was a big wake up call in order to get them focused on NMST who always gives us a barn burner. So far I like our chances but, there are a couple of teams that scare me as we enter farther into the season. One NMST, they always play us close. Two, Troy. Three UL Monroe, you might think I'm crazy but I have a feeling that those guys are gonna give us problems just because of who they are.

  17. UL Football disrespect by Gainesvill, FL newspaper

"It's hard to believe that any team would have to convince itself that it was playing an excellent football team when that team is a DNC. But it's also understandable that Zook and his staff want to make sure their players understand that this isn't Louisiana-Lafayette coming in here.

    It's still the DNC.

LSU isn't a bad team, just a good team that has played some bad games."

The above is a quote from the following article from Gainesville Sun:
