I would not take NSU lightly at all. They get up against Division I-A opponents. If Bustle thinks because he beat FIU by a big margin. That NSU will be a easy matchup he has another thing coming. NSU will kick our butts if we take them lightly. Talking about a big margin, and embarrased this University. If we take it as serious as NSU will take us, we will win. NSU is a very good team.
I have a friend that goes to NSU and he says they will not lose against UL in football. For some reason I take him serious. NSU will not play with us they will go after our football team, and this University.

The Mean Green has owned the Sun Belt with a perfect league record over the last two years and three straight trips to the New Orleans Bowl. If it doesn't seem too been-there-done-that at this point, there should be a fourth straight title in the works with the league's best offense and a defense that should be fine with a little fine tuning. Long known for its nasty defense, all will be fine once again if the entire linebacking corps can be replaced. It'll be the other side of the ball that bears watching this year as the nation's leading returning rusher, Patrick Cobbs, will run behind the league's best offensive line. The receiving corps is experienced and explosive, and quarterbacks Scott Hall and Andrew Smith have each won Sun Belt titles. Oh yeah, and the kicking game is awesome as well. As good as the team is, it'll be in for its biggest fight yet as the rest of the league has gotten much stronger and the bull's-eye on the Mean Green back has gotten even bigger. This might be the year someone finally hands them another league loss, but it'll take a lot to knock the kings off the hill. The Schedule: Sun Belt title number three might be all but gift wrapped missing Troy State and getting MTSU and NMSU in Denton. Three Big XII road games in the first four weeks might be trying, but the Mean Green should be able to handle Baylor. Arkansas State is the only real road test the rest of the way.

We're now on to the fourth year of discussing why and how MTSU should be the Sun Belt champions. North Texas has been the league powerhouse the Blue Raiders were expected to be a few years ago, but finally, head coach Andy McCollum might have the team to get to New Orleans. Outside of WR Kerry Wright, there aren't many superstars as the team relies on solid players from top to bottom only needing a few holes to be patched. O.K., so those holes are gaping needing more experience and depth on the offensive line and in the secondary, but the rest of the team is stacked with the best front seven and best receiving corps McCollum has ever had. The key will be to keep the intensity and focus up for an entire season. A team capable of battling North Texas and Missouri down to the wire shouldn't be losing at home in four overtimes to UL Lafayette or need overtime to beat a bad Idaho team. This is a good enough team to win the Sun Belt title, now it actually has to live up to all the expectations that have been three years in the making. The Schedule: Four road games in the first five is no way to start off the season; especially if the last game in the stretch is your most important of the year at North Texas. The Blue Raiders have to go on the road to play NMSU and Troy State as well meaning it'll be an uphill climb if there's any hope of a Sun Belt title. Best Offensive Player: Senior WR Kerry Wright. Wright is an unbelievable playmaker and one of 2003's breakout stars catching 73 passes for 1,280 yards and nine touchdowns. He's always open and always taking the heat off the rest of the offense.

Greg was anxious to get to UL and start working out,or maybe he was ready to get away from me. He told me everyone was glad to be back and in much better condition than this time last year. He has had no trouble with MCL. THANKS

I am excited that Greg will bring his experience and maturity to the Ragin Cajuns line again. I am looking forward to fall drills starting. I think the Cajuns are primed to shock the conference and the country.
