There is an update roster on ragincajuns.com
Praisin Cajun, the sign will grace the Eaque for every home game......
See u soon,

I thought someone said he looked like a "pregnant guppie".....Originally posted by Turbine
Did you see this character? Vertical and not holding on to support.
thanks for the props Turb.
Z.
also an updated depth, with a few mild surprises. Not so much the starters but on the second team.
Who is the CAT in the background wearing the TROJANS shirt????Originally posted by Turbine
Scrimmage defensive line.
Why on earth would he wear that to a UL function?
The mystery deepens....

On Ragin' Cajun Goals
“I’m looking forward to getting this game week started. It’s been a good camp. We’re tired of looking at each other and beating on each other. We are excited about getting started.”
“Normally when I give the players a manual we have a list of five or six goals that we want to achieve. This year we have one goal, and that’s to be a team.”
On Northwestern…
“We started on Northwestern last week. I think Northwestern is a good football team. Any team that has 16 starters coming back, that’s good.”
“They have a quarterback who threw for 51 percent last year, two running backs that gain a lot of yards and two all-Americans on defense. It’s going to be a good test for us.”
“We’re just very excited to be starting at home. It’s a big deal. I think it gives us a chance to draw a lot of people to the game. There’s no place like home.”
On defensive progression (switch to 4-3 defense)…
“I think we have progressed well. Here in the fall we have had a lot more practice. I don’t know if it fits our mentality or skill level, but overall it’s a better scheme for us. I think that we gave up way too many big plays last year.”
“I think people are underestimating our defense. Everything I read, the questions lean towards our defense. I just think that we are going to be better than a lot of people are giving us credit for. Its going to be good to see it against another football team.”
On Jerry Babb…
“It’s his offense. He’s going to make some mistakes, he’s only a sophomore. We forget that because he played so well at the end of last year. As long as Jerry keeps improving right now, that’s what we’re looking for.”
On the running game…
“Right now we’re fighting some minor injuries. Josh Harrison hasn’t been full speed in the last two practices.”
“Right now Dwight Lindon deserves to be our number one and he is. Chester’s (Johnson) come on and had a good fall, he just needs to hang onto the football.”
Difference between this year and last…
“The entire schedule. We have a chance to compete in every game, on paper. All I’ve wanted for the program is to have a chance to compete, then let us take care of business.”

Hey Turbine, nice shot of the sign! But who is that decrepit, old fellow holding it up? lol Just kidding, Z. It looks like you're ready for the season to start! Looks like the whole group worked out the season opening jitters! Well done, guys!
Well it's partially my fault for even opening the paper when I got to work this morning, but I saw what started out to be a nice article about the Cajuns and Coach bustle. It was so good that I couldn't even finish reading it....wait my fault, it said the rest of the article was on page 2D....someone correct me if my blindness caught up with me again, my wife always tells me I look with my eyes closed...but the rest of the article was no where to be found. I looked for a good 5 min through the paper to see if it was a misprint, but I didn't see anything.
And how many pages did they leave out of the article about LSpUke and Saban.
