In Tuesday’s edition of the Post-Signal, we had a picture of some men refurbishing an old railroad post that was originally built nearly 120 years ago. We asked that our readers help us in determining the name of the original building.
Dr. J.D. Hains called in yesterday morning to inform us that it was a ‘section house’ which would house a person who was in charge of taking care of that section of the railroad. Dr. Hains also said that the section houses were placed strategically along the railroad and that he recalls there being another one in Estherwood.
