2 years ago on the SportsNote Jake Delhomme was asked:
Would you rather...
A) Start another game in the NFL?
B) Win the Kentucky Derby?
His answer may surprise you. . . . Do you know?

He would rather win the Kentucky Derby. Being around horses his whole life and the Kentucky Derby being the most prestigious horse race, he would rather win the Derby.
GEAUX CAJUNS!!!
well we all know which one he ended up doing...
Yeaaaah and aint I glad but is that your final guess?Originally posted by CajunFanatic91

Turbine, you asked the wrong question. You should have asked "would you like to win the KY Derby or be the starting QB in the Superbowl?"
You are right that would have been an equal value question. However at the time just starting a game for the Saints was about an equal longshot.Originally posted by Square Head

So I guess the trivia question was to easy? Perhaps.
Still how do you think he answeed the question?
Knowing his love of horses there is only one answer. B) Win the Kentucky Derby?
i guessed wrong.. i can't wait until we "hear" the answer... (smiles)
I have it on the Proforum it said "Delhomme, whose Panthers lost this year's Super Bowl in a close one to the New England Patriots, said he has no plans to give up football for horse racing. Still, he has plans to get more involved in the future." Obviously going to the Superbowl has changed his opinion in the last two years.
There is an audio of the interview as soon as we have a few token guesses
OK I'm going to post the audio later today.
Any last hour guesses?
B.

A lot of insight into the Ditka vs Haslett coaching style. And if you kept up with his superbowl ticket distribution, you will get the connection.
Two years removed from the interview I found it more interesting than the day it aired
Well, I never saw that one coming. I figured he wanted the Derby win. Oh well.
