thats what makes recruiting so tough these days as well as building a program. Obviously u have to have a plan B in place knowing that some of your talent will be selected, but u just dont know. And having to play the waiting game on if and when they may or may not sign is tough on college coaches

You beat me to it. I am trying to keep track of anyone drafted from a Louisiana or Sun Belt school. I'm also trying to keep track of LSU and UL's recruits that may be drafted. Troy also has a recruit that is projected to go pretty high (Jimmy Hodgskin), but he hasn't been picked yet either.

Add another LSU guy, RHP Austin Ross, to the Brewers in the 8th round.

Also, Woodlawn OF Taylor Anderson went to the Yankees in the 7th round. That's actually Jake Anderson, a former Cajun signee. He signed with the Cajuns but wasn't going to qualify and planned to attend Meridian CC in Mississippi if he didn't go high enough in the draft. Was an all-state pick and the District 7-4A MVP after hitting .625 as a senior with 35 of his 50 hits going for extra bases.

LSU OF Blake Dean goes to Dodgers in the 8th round.
