The Miss University Dance was a huge success, drawing the largest crowd in many years for a university dance.

The new Miss University, Miss Phyllis St. Germaine, was presented. Also presented were the ten beauties and favorites.

Entertainment was provided by Irma Thomas and her band, and they were great.
