TUCSON - Call it the "no-surprises game."
That's how it'll feel for Arizona and Louisiana in the championship of the Fiesta Bowl Classic.
Arizona coach Lute Olson knows plenty about Ragin' Cajun coach Jessie Evans, who was an assistant under Olson for nine seasons and has attempted to emulate Arizona in some ways.
"There isn't going to be anything we do that he isn't going to know and vice versa," Olson said. "It's going to be a matter of execution."
Granted, the Ragin' Cajuns may not have the talent, but Evans is attempting to recruit the same type of player UA does: athletic and fundamentally sound. The team has gone to one NCAA Tournament and three postseason NITs in Evans' six seasons at the school.
Evans said putting championship teams together is what he learned from his days at UA.
"No one does it better than Lute," he said.
