Well said, and there is no such word as mediocracy. Learn how to spell.

We are not mediocre, we just can't compete with the big-time programs like Texas. We are a very good, but not great team. It is what it is. We're never going to have a 100 million dollar athletic budget.

You guys are such negative Nancies, we're about to go on a 5 game winning streak to send us to Omaha.

I'm thinking 3-1 and on to Fort Wuth.........

We only needed 5 tonight, but we don't have the big bats to hit two out of the park like Texas did.

We've used only 3 pitchers. I would have liked to see Thad tonight, but he'll be ready to go after Satriano in the pen.

Are we gonna go with Hubbell?

Pretty sure we'd have to win 3 more to move on to Fort Worth. To come out of the loser's bracket like we do now, we would have to be able to swing the bat a lot better than we do. I don't see us winning three in a row against this field. Geith just threw the game of his life and we still lost.

We still have good arms left. I'm not ready to say it's impossible but we will need to pick it up offensively and catch some breaks. The odds are definitely stacked but anything can happen in post season baseball. Look what A&M did to us in 07

Diehard, i disagree. Our boys did compete tonight! True we did not get the hits we needed, but there is a reason the longhorns only have 11 loses on the year and the no. 1 era in the country.

As Robe and Augie said in the post game interviews, a couple of mistakes here or there and the outcome is different.

    Now, lets cook rice tomorrow.

Would love to have that 8th inning with the bases loaded over again. A base hit at that point and I might be typing something else right now.

Go Cajuns- The Longhorns knew they were in a game.
