i think he started the deciding game in the finals last year. i remember thinking texas had a LOT of pitchers that looked better than he did. got knocked out early as i recall.

Yes ... and it was Jungmann that cut up LSU in the middle game ... tossing a complete game, 5 hits, 1 R, none earned. Texas is evidently saving Jungmann for Game #3. They are in effect reverse pitching this regional.

Jungmann has the impressive stuff. Cole Green relies more on command, movement, and keeping hitters off balance.

Hope we can put some better swings on the ball. Poirrier was on his game today so that's a good sign. I think TJ can do well enough to try to neutralize their small ball.

Oz just pitched a shutout game against one of the top scoring teams in the nation. He got em OUT when it counted.
