Students should take note of a case before the district courts this week as a warning narcotics on school grounds will not be tolerated by authorities.
An Evangeline Parish student is currently serving time in jail as a result of bringing marijuana on to school grounds this past semester. Dominque Coward of Ville Platte, who was 17 at the time of the incident, was sentenced Thursday morning, June 3, by 13th Judicial District Judge Thomas Fusilier.
