We just don't have the bats. At this level (regionals) you have got to score runs. You can't rely on your entire pitching staff to get you 1-0 or 2-1 games.

For a team with numbers like Rice it sure looks like they don't have the bats... You win at this level with pitching and defense. They just have a good pitcher too... So it makes our offense look weak. They are actually hitting the ball well just not getting the hits at the right time and that's expected when you're facing a number 1 of a 2 seed team.
