Bill Damuth (Former Lady Cajuns basketball assistant) joins Miners

Bill Damuth, who was the head coach for new signee Gloria Brown at Trinity Valley Community College (Athens, Texas) this past season, replaces Darren Brunson, who left for a job at Texas Southern.

I've been at the Division I level before, at Louisiana (from 2002 to 2006). That was a struggling program and we were able to turn it around. Coming into a (UTEP) program that's already established and had success is new to me:

Coach Damuth will do a great job at UTEP. He really deserves alot of credit for helping us build the program while we were at Louisiana. Great Recruiter and we all know that the better the players the better you become as a Coach. LoL.
