    According to the article, there was a miss communication and they did not shut down shallow water ops. If they do that, I and many other people will be in trouble. Did you read the article??

    Yes. That article I cited was referencing an e-mail that came out of the Gulf of Mexico Regional office from someone at the MMS named Saucier (can't remember the first name). Now the MMS in Washington is contradicting the GOM office's statement. As can be seen in the updated TP article confusion reigns supreme. If the MMS can't figure out its own rules and policies how are we in the industry to be expected to implement them correctly?
