In Jeff Davis Parish, the Police Chief of Welsh says he will not resign after being accused of making a racial slur. Chief Tommy Chaisson is accused of using the slur in a text message to his estranged wife.
The Welsh City Council met tonight, where the mayor asked Chaisson to resign. He says he will not do so, because he's done nothing wrong.
