Town of Lake Arthur remembers its Veterans at Sunday's Memorial Day Program

On a typical hot and humid South Louisiana afternoon, the Town of Lake Arthur paid tribute to this nation’s many veterans during its annual Memorial Day Program held Sunday, May 30th, 2010 at 1 p.m. under the Pavilion by the lake in Lake Arthur.
Mistress of Ceremonies Wanda Rinehart of Lake Arthur American Legion Post #403 Ladies Auxiliary welcomed the crowd attending with able help from Lake Arthur Mayor and veteran E.R. “Red” Giles.
