I think Brian just confirmed my suspicions that ESPN is kinda just winging it over there. If SEBaseball said it I would be worried.

I really hope guys can get along. I don't like when my friends argue

Brian, that's a great breakdown, I think we're in too. I'm a pessimist though, so I'm going to cry myself to sleep tonight just in case.

Aaron Fitt of BA has us in as a 3 in Austin

Spoke with Aaron earlier today before he finished his final projections. And he already had the Cajuns in.

We all seem to agree that the SBC is not a 4 bid league this year, correct? So seeing as FIU has to be taken now, why would the selection committee select us over WKU? I have a bad feeling...the same one I had for the softball Super Regional this weekend...that we might get shafted again. If this happens, I along with many others will be ____ed! I think WKU should be in too.

One reason WKU wouldn't be in: No Matt Ridings. Will undergo Tommy John surgery for torn ulnar collateral ligament (elbow).

Plus, the Cajuns won a share of the SBC title as well as its final seven weekend series and were one of the nation's hottest teams after midseason.

WKU split its 10 conference series, had a losing record in the second half and finished tied for sixth in the league.

I was forgetting about that. That was one of the reasons I was thinking they would be in.

This is as close as ive followed the at large bids in a few years. Probably cause this is the first time we are in contention in a few years. The only thing that i hope the committee does is stay true throughout the whole process. Dont make an exception for this team or that team. stay consistant

We will get in before WKU based on conference finish (UL 1st, WKU 6th) and that we beat them 2-1 during the season. WKU also went 2 and bbq in the tournament.

These RPI's are as of tonight?

It was pretty close a few years ago in 2007 when the Cajuns were a possible #1 seed. We were a RPI #14 and got sent to Tex A&M as a 2 seed.
