National Seeds and #1 seeds will be announced tomorrow. If I change any of the seeds based on today's action, they will be reflected in my bracket.

Texas, Auburn, & TCU, all look to meet the 500 mile limit for a bus ride. My bet is on TCU.

The cut-off for bus/air is 400 miles. This is for all championships, not just baseball.

I used a mileage calculator a couple of weeks ago and it showed 401 miles from Lafayette to Fort Worth. The guidelines state that participants must travel by ground if within 400 miles of the competition site. This is assumably from the originating campus. I am not sure how the selection committee would categorize the UL campus to the TCU facility (bus/air).

    Which begs the next question:

Does the NCAA calculate mileage as the crow flies or as the car drives???

I've never understood why, but I believe mileage is calculated as the crow drives.

Your right...almost. For some reason they let the basketball boys and girls get away with 350 miles.

The NCAA also has it's on mileage calculator you can find buried on their site.

UL to TCU is officially 433 miles.

Now quit reading this and get back to work......

p.s. Me and twenty close friends are crashing at your house if it is UT.
