Is the UL Basketball Team a Cinderella Team?

ESPN.com has a weekly post where they list their Cinderella picks each week. If you look at this weeks post they say that they recieved some e-mails from lafayette pleading the cajuns' case. If you have nothing better to do you could also email them by clicking the feedback link and try to get UL some recognition!

We will get our recongnition in March, when it matters the most. All this Cinderalla watch is pointless. Wait and see how many of those teams ESPN lists will be in the tourney come March. The Cajuns will be and we will not be a Cinderalla team!!!

I think you are right. I just think the more our name gets tossed around, the better it will be overall for this basketball program!

I like it because I hate to think that when a coach goes recruiting, it is the athletes first time hearing of the university.

If we are recruiting someone, they have heard of us before we started recruiting them. Most of the players on our team are usually from Louisiana, and some others have heard about us and transferred here.
