The Cajuns (Adjusted RPI rank of 44) are a mere .0003 behind Boston College. Both Boston College and Louisiana have completed play, thus it would take a favorable differential in OWP and OOWP for the Cajuns to overtake Boston College in the RPI rankings.

The Cajuns will retain their RPI bonus as Northwestern State will finish in the Base RPI Top 75 (#66 Base RPI position). This also ensures a much needed boost to the Cajun W/L record vs. the Base RPI Top 75.

Unfortunately, Arkansas State has moved into the Base RPI Top 100 with its two wins in the conference tournament. At #86, this adds a 1-3 record vs. the Base RPI Top 100 to the Cajun resume ... giving the Cajuns a losing record vs. the Base RPI Top 100. I am not optimistic that two losses to Troy today would drop them to 101 or lower ... but it is possible depending on what other teams around them do today and tomorrow (if applicable).

Southeastern Louisiana will finish outside the Base RPI Top 50 (#58). This removes two losses (0-2) to the Cajuns' record vs. the Base RPI Top 50.

Finally, Southern Mississippi has moved back to #71 in the Base RPI and only has Rice remaining. They will likely remain in the Base RPI Top 75. The Cajuns went 1-2 vs. USM.
