To think I rushed home for this. Come on Cajuns. Down to 6 outs. _
Thankfully momentum going into postseason is a myth

So going 0-2 and not competing is good for the team's confidence going into regionals?

It seems the majority still thinks we will get in even if we lose. Hopefully we do. During the third inning last night, I was talking to my friend about how nice it was that UL was rolling. Oh, how things can change so fast.

Different scenario for Fresno. They had to win their conference tournament just to get into the ncaa tournament.

I counter your notion about momentum with the 2009-2010 Saints.

game not over. But the old saying. That's baseball! U can easily drop two over the course of a season. In fact statistically we probably should have lost two in a row at some point before now. Obviously it's not good. Losing is never good. But don't freak out. This team went absolutely crazy over the past two months. They swept 5 of their last six series. They may be due for a little bump.

If you're not worried at this moment, you're not an educated fan. There is not one person thats followed this team the last 2 months that thought we would go 0 - 2.

This is bad. No matter how you spin it.

I know it will affect their confidence, as well as the community's. Only positive is that our pitching staff will be fully rested.

Yea, go tell Saints fans you dont believe after losing the last 3 or Colts fans when they lost their last 2 and still made the SB. Or Celtic fans since they mailed it in at the end of the season and are still (clinging) a win from getting to the conference championships.

Go be worried somewhere. I'll have faith that we will be ready.

    Baseball is not football.
Yea, they had to win the conference to get in. They then carried that momentum into the NCAA's and won the whole thing.

We're not wildly guessing. Those saying we're in know because we've been keeping up with RPI and all the situations that lead to getting in. We're in. The expert (Brian) says so.

You dont win a regular season championship, have a decent RPI, and not get picked
